I would like to hear some opionions on purchasing silver, gold on different platforms such as actual bullion, as in coins, individual stocks such as mining companies, or possibly mutual funds. I see numerous sites, but right now it seems a blend portfolio would be best, but were to start?

if you have less than $10k, invest in an Index Fund…this will cover a wider range of markets that you would otherwise miss trying to do it yourself. check out the web and do a google search for index funds, then read what they are investing in. choose based on what they have in the portfolio, and you’re on your way!
